“Funkay!”

“what a pleasure to find this sound and these harmonies. The music seems simple, but we do not believe the melodies are chiseled . Steve d’Angelo’s guitar perfectly marries the rhythmic Steve Lucas and Davide Di Renzo. The percussions of Arturo Avalos and Sarah T respond perfectly. All this small world distils a skeleton that musclent the three pianists and the bassist Steve Lucas. From the start the first two compositions The Man Who Danced Sideways and Betty’s Girls set the tone. Here we are in the presence of happy musicians, sharers and voluble. The song Failing allows us to approach quiet and peaceful shores, it is only waiting for the arrival of the sun and share a nice story with a meeting. The quality of recording and production is not lacking and it would be interesting to be able to discover this training on stage. Toronto does not have to worry about getting the beauty of the azure will bring a greedy touch to the notes of this music. The groove is not forgotten. He lives each composition and embellishes the recipe of sweet smelling jazz fusion.”
